After 20 years in an accounting/finance career, my life got turned upside down when my fiancé, Paul Dross, owner of Dross Countryside and father of my 2 girls unexpectedly passed away. I had to make some very challenging decisions and one of those was to take over the agency. Paul and his mom built Dross Countryside into an agency with strong core values based on putting our clients first. It only felt right, in my heart, to carry on the legacy of Paul and his mom as well as continue to take care of so many valued clients and incredible staff! I am excited to continue to grow in the insurance world and get to know all the DCI clients. Outside of the agency, I play full-time taxi driver for my 2 girls that are involved in cheer, theater and the Badgerland Water Ski Show team.
After graduating from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Psychology I decided to make a career change into insurance in 1994. I began my insurance career in equine insurance as an independent claims adjuster in the heart of horse country, Lexington, Kentucky. I moved to Wisconsin in 2000 and became a licensed agent and Certified Insurance Service Representative. I earned the designation of Certified Insurance Counselor in 2018. I have worked in both personal lines and commercial lines. My focus here at Dross Countryside is commercial insurance. I enjoy developing partnerships with business owners to determine the best coverage for their needs and help them navigate the often murky waters of insurance.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking with my German Shorthair Pointer Milo, home gardening projects and getting together with friends.

I have been working in the insurance industry for 27 years. Working in an agency where we are able to offer several different companies to meet the needs of each person and/or family has been my greatest experience. I enjoy working with folks educating them on insurance and the protection it provides them whether it is for their vehicles, home, boats and other toys as well as life insurance.
With a background in customer service I strive to provide the best possible experience with every person I speak to. I absolutely love the day to day participation with each client and helping them find the most comprehensive coverage that meets their needs. Being able to learn something new every day is also my motto. The best thing in my life is my family. In my spare time, I like to get outdoors and spend time on the water or nature trail!
I started in the Insurance industry in 1994, becoming fully licensed in 1998. At work, I take pride in getting to know our clients – this is my favorite part of the job! This not only helps me to better understand their individual needs, but also build stronger relationships. When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends as well as doing community service with our church.
After living in multiple countries and states, I found a home here in Wisconsin within this year of 2024. While attending Texas A&M Corpus Christi, I was a manager for Intercontinental Hotels for 6 years then I transitioned into the insurance industry in 2022. I obtained my property & casualty license in Texas and I’ve been in the industry for over 2 years. I’m looking forward to learning all that I can and possibly obtain more licenses to further enhance my skillset. While working within the insurance industry, I’ve handled commercial and personal lines policies thus far. My goal is to expand my knowledge and lengthen my certifications so that I can help clients with all of their insurance needs. During my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I also love watching sports! My favorite team is the Eagles and my favorite basketball player is Kevin Durant (The greatest scorer of all time).

Hello, my name is Jeff Lorenz. After 15+ years as engineer/supervisor in the manufacturing sector, I transition to the insurance industry and became licensed in 2001. I am a property and casualty insurance specialist who can provide a variety of products and services that can help protect your auto, home, and business. Some of the areas that I can assist in include property coverages, liability coverage and contract bonds. It is my goal to work closely with my clients and really get to know each unique business that I work with so that I can provide the best insurance solution.
When I am not working, I enjoy playing golf, spending time with my family at our lake home in northern Wisconsin where we ATV, boat and hike. I reside in Mukwonago since 1995 with my wife, Teri, and we have a grown daughter.
I jumped into the insurance world back in 2003 at a captive agency and made the move to Dross Countryside Insurance in 2008. In 2016 I made the incredibly hard decision to leave the company to raise our growing family of 3 daughters. With school now full days for all 3, I came back to work at DCI. I love engaging in conversations with everyone and helping when the opportunity presents itself.
My off time consists of juggling 3 little social calendars, fishing, hunting, and traveling with my family.
